Bishoff's skills and experience help to support social media, blogging, case studies, websites and numerous print publications along with marketing and public relations efforts.
Bishoff has an excellent track record as a communications specialist and social media strategist through more than 20 years as a professional writer and editor in the newspaper, magazine and marketing industries.
In recent years, Bishoff has been a freelance writer for The Lima News, 419sports.com and The Ohio State Alumni Magazine as a columnist, feature writer and reporter. He also regularly appeared on radio talk shows in the Lima area.
Prior to his current position at OH-TECH, he was a Social Media Account Manager at NOW Marketing Group, Inc. As an Account Manager, he played a major role in helping eight companies in their marketing, writing, designing and online messaging efforts. He oversaw these companies’ social media platforms, including blogs, and helped them create and mold their brands.
Before that position, Bishoff was an editor at the Lima News. At the Lima News he managed a staff of full-time writers and a crew of part-time and freelance writers. He oversaw the daily execution of the sports section: Including story planning/selection and editing, design, web and social media and headline writing. Also, I oversaw online and social media sites for Lima News sports department. he designed, edited and helped plan the weekly BuckEyes page during football season. This page ran in more than 50 Ohio newspapers. During my time there, I led the staff to numerous AP awards.
