Rick Penny

Rick Penny joined Lakeland Community College in 2006 as the manager for Administrative Technologies. In 2010, he became the director of administrative technologies and has served as chief information officer since 2014. Penny leads operational and technology efforts, ranging from enterprise-wide resource planning/student information system, programming, reporting, integration, network operations, servers, data center, customer services, pc support, help desk and major projects. Before joining Lakeland, Penny worked in systems administration at Sherwin-Williams and S&Z Tool and Die. Penny holds a bachelor’s degree from Cleveland State University.
