Jeff Crompton is a Principal and Co-founder of AltaSim Technologies. He has an extensive industrial and academic background and has successfully developed and implemented technologies for use in the automotive and aerospace industries. Previously he has held positions at EWI and Alcan. He had led technology developments in advanced materials, engineering design and computational analysis, and led technology commercialization and implementation in Europe, North America, and Japan.
Dr. Crompton has extensive expertise in a broad range of engineering and materials technologies and has expertise in the following technical areas:
- Structure-property relationships of engineering materials,
- Materials processing technology,
- Surface treatment technology,
- Organic/inorganic interactions, and
- Engineering design.
Dr. Crompton has developed advanced materials manufacturing technology and subsequently transferred the technology into successful commercial operation with leading automotive OEMs and aerospace manufacturers.
