Charles Warner serves as Chief Information Officer at Shawnee State University in Portsmouth, Ohio. Shawnee State is a student-focused public university offering a highly personalized, affordable, and accessible education dedicated to the exploration of emerging technologies and emerging ideas. Prior to his 15 years there, Warner worked as a software engineering and development consultant for Fortune 500 companies, including E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company, Ashland Oil Inc. and American Electric Power. Warner received his bachelor’s degree and MBA from The Ohio State University, with an emphasis on information systems. He currently serves on the Inter-University Council of Ohio, Chief Information Officers Committee, as well as a TCI Member advisory representative for Jenzabar Inc.
