Columbus, Ohio (May 16, 2016) — eStudent Services, a division of the Ohio Technology Consortium (OH-TECH) that provides innovative online support services for all students, has moved its operations into the OH-TECH building at 1224 Kinnear Road as of January 2016. eStudent Services joins the Ohio Supercomputer Center, OARnet and OhioLINK at the building, rounding out the consortium members of OH-TECH, a division of the Ohio Department of Higher Education. The organization was previously housed at ODHE.
"We are so pleased to be located with the other members of the OH-TECH consortium. Now, the benefits of being a part of a group like this can be fully realized as we can work closely with our fellow members to share ideas and expertise,” said Anna Bendo, special project coordinator for eStudent Services.
eStudent Services is a consortium that provides distance-learning resources to Ohio students from kindergarten through college. It builds upon the foundation established previously by the Ohio Learning Network (OLN). OLN was created in 1999 to expand access to learning opportunities. In 2012, OLN was restructured and enhanced with added resources to create eStudent Services. Currently, eStudent Services is implemented through its eTutoring program and the OhioLearns catalog.
